This event provides an opportunity for the MWVCC to review its past year with its members as well as its 2022/2023 plans. It hosts an open meeting to approve the previous year’s annual meeting minutes and financial reports; vote on incoming board members; touch on upcoming programs and strategies put in place by the MWVCC and its partners; award the Steve Eastman Community Spirit Award, White Mountain Treasures, Employer of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year; as well as thank the chamber’s sponsors.

While most businesses reported growth, it’s important to remember how hard everyone is working. Price of gas, food costs, supply issues, affordable housing, and staffing issues are ever-present. Success can also be measured in avoiding burn-out.

The Valley Sampler Pass was created by the Ski and Nordic areas to encourage skiing among MWVCC chamber member’s full time employees, provide an incentive to enjoy all the alpine and nordic ski areas in the valley to ensure familiarity of the areas skiing facilities in order to make recommendations to visitors and locals alike, provide a means by which ski areas pay their membership dues to the MWVCC while matching grant funds for promoting the winter season and to enhance the continuation and understanding of the areas outdoor recreation culture.
