We're still out here skiing! Tuesday's storm brought between 2 inches to 5 inches to North Conway, 6 inches to 8 inches to Bartlett, and eight to ten inches to Bretton Woods! People are out on the mountains as we speak, making the most of the 24-hour snowfall!
The remaining few weeks of skiing will take us into spring, where ski areas have a lot of entertainment coming your way. Spring parties are planned at many of the resorts with live music, pond skimming, races, raffles, and more! Event highlights are listed below.

March 17: St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt at Settlers Green. Find one of 35 leprechauns hidden around Settlers Green and turn it in at Customer Service to receive a $35 Settlers Green Gift Card.
March 17: St. Patrick's Day Apres at Bretton Woods. Live music with the Majestic Loonbirds and giveaways to vendors and promoters will be on the 3rd level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge.
March 18: The Mattress Race at Pleasant Mountain. Dig out your old beat up mattress and put it to good use! Design and decorate your old twin, full, double, queen or king mattress and race it down our course and you’ll be eligible for great prizes
March 19: Cardboard Box Race at King Pine Ski Area. Build a cardboard box vessel with your own theme and head down our special race course. Cardboard box entrees must be built entirely out of cardboard
March 25: Spring Fling at Pleasant Mountain. All participants are invited to dress up in costumes best representing the 70's
March 25: Bretton Woods' Beach Party is taking place with favorite spring and beach-themed activities, food, drinks, costumes, music, and games!
March 31 - April 2: Wild Corn Shindig presented by Granite Backcountry Alliance at King Pine Ski Resort. Lifts shut down and festival-goers have uphill access to enjoy human-powered skiing all weekend and a vibrant basecamp village with backcountry gear vendors, demo options, a variety of outdoor organizations, food and drink specials, and daily activities.

Attitash Mountain Resort - Open with 66 trails out of 68, with terrain accessed by 7 lifts, 1 terrain park is open. Base depth of 23” and 5" of natural snowfall in 24 hours, 11" in 48 hours, and 125” of natural snowfall this season.
Black Mountain – Open with 49 trails out of 62, accessed by 1 lift.
Bretton Woods – Open with 63 trails out of 63, 35 glades, accessed by 7 lifts. Base depths: 28-38”. 10" of natural snowfall in 24 hours, 15" of natural snowfall in 48 hours, and 135” of natural snowfall this season.
Cranmore Mountain Resort - Open with 55 trails out of 57 with terrain accessed by 4 lifts. 3 terrain parks are open. Base depth: 18- 20”. 6" of natural snowfall in 24 hours, 6" of natural snowfall in 48 hours, and 93” of natural snowfall this season. 2 terrain parks are open.
King Pine Ski Resort - Open with 17 trails out of 17 with terrain accessed by 4 lifts. Base depth: 24-36”. 14" of natural snowfall in 24 hours, 95” of natural snowfall this season.
Pleasant Mountain(formerly Shawnee Peak) - Open with 31 groomed trails out of 44 with terrain accessed by 4 lifts. 17 trails are open for night skiing. 5" of natural snowfall in the last 24 hours.
Wildcat Mountain- Open with 48 trails out of 48, with terrain accessed by 3 lifts, 1 terrain park is open. Base depth of 23” and 29" of natural snowfall in 24 hours, and 195” of natural snowfall this season.
Bretton Woods Nordic Center - Open with 51 trails out of 58, totaling 95km, of which 47km is skate groomed, and 37km are classic groomed. Base depth: 6-16”. 135” of natural snowfall this season. Snowshoeing and dog-friendly skiing is open on a portion of trails. Tubing is available Friday - Sunday.
Great Glen Trails - Open with 49 trails totaling 45km, of which 15km is tracked, and 24km is skate groomed. Base depth: 40”. 10" of natural snowfall in the last 24 hours, and 142” of natural snowfall this season. Snowshoeing is available on 45km of trails; fat biking is closed for the day; tubing hill is open; and Mt. Washington Auto Road SnowCoach open.
Jackson Ski Touring Foundation - Open with 27km of trail, both skate and classic groomed. 3" of natural snowfall in 24 hours, 10" of natural snowfall in 48 hours.
Purity Spring XC and Snowshoe Preserve - Natural 12-18” base on cross-country trails. Trails are currently ungroomed with variable surfaces. Grooming is scheduled to resume today, (3/15), to pack down the new snow. Dogs are not allowed on trails on weekends and a valid ticket or season pass is required at all times to access trails. Rental equipment is available through the King Pine Rental & Tune Shop.
Mt Washington Valley Ski Touring & Snowshoe Foundation – Open with 40km of trails, of which 15km is groomed for both skate and classic skiing. 15km is open to snowshoers, and 6km is open to fat bikers. Tickets are required.

Days like today make the constraints of "real world" totally worth living in! It gives new meaning to office views, you don't PTO when days like today feel like a vacation, and they give a whole new meaning to "zoom!"
If mountains' trail networks aren't 100% open, they are at 95%. Thanks to the expert grooming teams the conditions are amazing, and now is the time to SKI!
March 5: Sticky Paws and S'mores at Attitash Mountain Resort. Enjoy complimentary S'mores from 12:00 - 1:00 PM (while supplies last) at the Bear Peak Firepit.
March 5: All In Race to benefit MWV Adaptive Sports at Attitash Mountain Resort. The race is for all ages, all abilities, all ski disciplines. The object is to have fun. Prizes will be awarded after the race. The first 75 racers get swag bags.

It has been snowing non-stop in Mt. Washington Valley! First a storm on Saturday, and now on Tuesday, February 28th it's been snowing since the early morning. a half a foot of snow has accumulated in parts of the area, and guess what? IT'S STILL SNOWING!
