Mount Washington Observatory

Mount Washington Observatory is a private, nonprofit, member-supported institution with a mission to advance understanding of the natural systems that create Earth’s weather and climate. It serves this mission by maintaining a weather station on the summit of Mount Washington, performing weather and climate research, conducting innovative science education programs, and interpreting the heritage of the Mount Washington region. Mount Washington Valley Adult Day Center

The MWVADC cares for aging adults with degenerative illnesses associated with aging, memory loss disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and other physical needs. It also provides critical counseling support to families and caregivers.

Starting Point: Services for Victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence

Starting Point provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Our goal is to address and ultimately end the cycle of violence in our community while supporting victims and survivors with dignity and compassion.

Mount Washington Valley Trails Association

The Mount Washington Valley Trails Association is a (501 (c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2011. We build and maintain multi-use recreation paths and trails within the Mount Washington Valley that provide residents and visitors with safe, family-oriented recreation and non-motorized transportation alternatives. The centerpiece of this network is the Mount Washington Valley Rec Path, a multi-use, paved path accessible to all ages and abilities. We also support and develop purpose-built singletrack dirt trails for non-motorized uses such as mountain biking, hiking and trail running.
