Located off Route 2 in Gorham, New Hampshire, Androscoggin Valley Country Club is an 18-hole course with breathtaking mountain views, including the Presidential Range. It offers a fully stocked pro shop, lessons, tournaments and its club house, “The 19th Hole.”
Omni Mount Washington Resort
Omni Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods features two courses. The 18-hole Mount Washington Course is par 72, 7,004 yards. It’s been regularly voted as “One of the Best Courses You Can Play” in New Hampshire by Golf Week Magazine. The Mount Pleasant Course is a 9-hole links-style course that is par 35, 3,215 yards. It will challenge first-time players and entertain seasoned ones. It provides a pressure free environment for all abilities. The resort offers a fully stocked pro shop, lessons with PGA professionals and access to “The Grille” clubhouse.
Bridgton Highlands Golf & Tennis Club
Bridgton Highlands is located in Bridgton, Maine and is surrounded by Highland Lake. As you make your way through the 18-hole course you’ll take in views of Pleasant Mountain, New Hampshire’s White Mountains and Mount Washington. The course has four sets of tees and a maximum length of 6,224 yards. Regularly scheduled social hours with live music are hosted at the course, as well as tournaments and other golf events.
Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club
Eagle Mountain House Golf Club is set at the base of one of New Hampshire’s oldest and historic hotels, the Eagle Mountain House. Located in Jackson, New Hampshire, this course overlooks Jackson Village and follows the Wildcat River. Featuring 9-holes, each with a different perspective of the White Mountains, golfers can play a round at this par 32 rated course, and end their day with dinner at Highfields Restaurant or Eagle’s Landing Tavern, both in the hotel.
Indian Mound Golf Club
Indian Mound Golf Club is considered "one of New Hampshire's most popular golf courses.” This accessible par 70 golf course features 9-holes on a relatively level first-half of the course, followed by gentle rolling terrain on the second half. Indian Mound Golf Club is located in Center Ossipee, NH and offers a pro shop, lessons and tournaments, and the Rivers Edge Grille and Tavern.
Hale's Location Golf Course
Hales Location Golf Course is a 9-hole course that features views of White Horse Ledge and Cranmore Mountain. With its mountain views and meticulously kept grounds, Golf Magazine has stated that "Hales Location is one of the most unique and singularly beautiful golf developments in the country.” This professional par 36 course is challenging, but also approachable for a range of players. Golfers will find long fairways, several water hazards and carefully placed sand traps. At the end of your game, drinks, lite fare and dinner are served at the White Mountain Hotel’s Tullamore Tavern and Ledges dining room.
Province Lake Golf and Resort
Province Lake Golf Club is a beautiful blend of the best of classic golf with outstanding modern design. The links style front nine, built in 1918 and designed by Lawrence Van Etten, features views of Province Lake. The back nine, built in 1988 and designed by Brian Silva, features views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The course's clubhouse was constructed in 2020 and features a wraparound veranda overlooking the course and Province Lake. Steps from the clubhouse is the Carriage House Bistro, serving homemade dishes and crafted cocktails.
Wentworth Golf Club
The Wentworth Golf Club is an 18-hole course set in the idyllic mountain village of Jackson. The Wildcat and Ellis Rivers weave through the beautifully kept grounds, with covered bridges, a white steeple church and mountain views in all directions adding to the pastoral scene. After your round, there are numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the course.
