2026 Annual Meeting & Awards Cocktail Reception

The Evergreen Room at King Pine Ski Area, East Madison, NH

Please join the MWV Chamber for our Annual Meeting, Cocktail Reception & Awards Night. This year's event will be held in the beautifully renovated Evergreen Room at King Pine Ski Area, nestled among the hills and lakes of East Madison, NH.

  • Registration opens 4:30pm
  • Annual Meeting & Awards 5-7pm

Enjoy a social hour with heavy hors d'oeuvres and cash bar, a presentation from the MWV Chamber of Commerce on accomplishments from the past year and goals for 2027, followed by the presentation of four prestigious awards.

White Mountains Treasure Awards

Each year the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce awards the honor of White Mountains Treasure on local individuals who have given a “lifetime” of time and talent to Mt. Washington Valley. Award recipients exemplify that success is not measured by what you accomplish in life for yourself, but by what you do for others and your community.

2025 White Mountains Treasure Award winners were Sue Ruka and Sandy Ruka (posthumously) for lives dedicated to public health.

Employer of the Year

A business that demonstrates respect for employees and other business partners, displays excellence in creating a safe, inviting workplace and provides employees with solid pay/benefits, plus opportunity for training and advancement.

Entrepeneur of the Year

A business that is clearly filling a need in the community, creating jobs, demonstrating creativity, innovation and community involvement. It's a business that is people and principle-oriented as well as profitable, has grown and evolved over the years, and is a recognized leader in its industry.

Steve Eastman Community Spirit Award

Created to honor of the late Steve Eastman (1949-2008), former MWVCC board member, longtime community leader and the founding publisher and editor of the Mountain Ear newspaper, this award recognizes a strong community leader who has  given back to the community. Presented at the MWVCC Annual Meeting, this award winner is determined by the Eastman family.
