Smart ways to save on skiing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for visitors and locals

Planning a winter getaway? Looking for local savings? These seasonal deals will help you make the most of your winter in the Valley—without stretching your budget. Explore discounted lessons, lift tickets, ski & stay packages and more.  

Pro-tip: Be sure to double-check each ski area’s website, as inclement weather can affect hours of operation and all info is subject to change.

Bretton Woods (Bretton Woods, NH) — Local Sundays

One of New England's largest ski areas with renowned views of Mt. Washington. Qualifying local residents can purchase an afternoon half-day lift ticket at a discounted price (with valid local ID).

Cranmore Mountain Resort (North Conway, NH) — Lessons & Discounts

Located in the center of North Conway, Cranmore is especially popular with families thanks to its approachable terrain and easy access to the popular ski town.  

KidsRule 10Pack (ages 4–14): Ten non-transferable full-day KidsRule ski or snowboard lessons at a discounted rate.

I Wanna 5Pack (ages 3–5): Five non-transferable IWanna Ski or snowboard lessons at a discounted rate.

Sunday Deal Days: Discounted lift tickets on select Sundays (online purchase only) and $39 lift tickets for locals after 12pm.

Winter Wednesdays: $35 night skiing (2pm–7pm) and $25 Tubing Park tickets for locals on non-holiday Wednesdays. Be sure to book ahead, as tubing tends to sell out, especially during holiday and vacation weeks.  

King Pine Ski Area (Madison, NH) $20 Tuesday Nights

Beloved for its friendly vibe and night skiing, King Pine is the go-to spot for locals and those looking for lowkey after-work laps.  

Enjoy $20 lift tickets for skiing (3:30pm–8pm) and tubing (4pm–7pm) under the lights on Tuesdays. Other Tuesday night specials include rental packages for $20 and a Pizza & Draft Special (two slices and two pints) in the Trails End Tavern for $20.

Pleasant Mountain (Bridgton, ME) 2 & 3-packs

Just over the Maine border in the quaint town of Bridgton, Pleasant Mountain (formerly Shawnee Peak) is a picturesque mountain with classic Maine vibes and stellar skiing.  

Choose any dates of the 2025/26 season at one flat price with no blackout dates. Night skiing is included.

Winter in the Valley offers much more than skiing. If you’re looking to try something new, these packages offer guided ways to explore a different side of the Valley.  

The Glen House (Gorham, NH) — The Winter Explorer package includes a Snow Coach guided tour on The Mt. Washington Auto Road for two, cross-country ski rentals and snowshoe rentals for two.
