For July 2024
North Conway, NH - Travelers seeking a traditional Fourth of July holiday will find a full day of family-friendly free activities in North Conway, New Hampshire. Best of all, many area businesses and lodging properties are rolling out the welcome mat with great deals on overnight accommodations, free concerts, and more. For those who want to kick off summer with fireworks, parades and music, Mt. Washington Valley will be the place to be.
“North Conway and its surrounding community has always been known as a great value to travelers. This summer is no exception. The town’s 4th of July events are all open to the public and free of charge. Most are taking place in beautiful Schouler Park in front of the historic Conway Scenic Railway train station with the stunning Moat Mountains in the background. That plus the many specials our lodging properties and other businesses are offering make Mt. Washington Valley the place to be this Independence Day,” stated Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Cruz. The Chamber has created a special webpage with all of their member businesses offering specials as well as links out to area activities for the 4th of July and early July deals.
The town’s Independence Day festivities begin with an old-fashioned 4th of July parade in Conway Village. The Parade will begin at 1:30 pm. It starts at Olympic Lane (by Kennett Middle School), then taking a left and heading North on Route 16 through the four corners intersection. The Parade will end at the second exit of Conway Market Place.
The festivities move to Schouler Park in North Conway Village with vendors, entertainment and fireworks. Be inspired at 4:25pm with the singing of the National Anthem by Samantha Veno, followed by a performance at 4:30pm by the Tina Titzer Act One Dance Company.
A free live concert continues the fun at 5:45pm with tunes from Rek’Lis, followed by Generations Band at 7:45pm.
