Golf courses in Mt. Washington Valley, New Hampshire offer over 100 holes of golf to play.

That’s acres and acres of green that show case technical courses designed by giants in the industry. While the chamber features nine premier golf courses throughout the Mt. Washington Valley, each one offers a completely different experience.

From nine-hole games to 18-holes, to courses set at historic grand hotels, and others that cross covered bridges and vintage train tracks, the valley’s golf courses span from as far south as Ossipee, New Hampshire to as far north as Gorham and Whitefield, New Hampshire, and as far west as Bridgton, Maine.

‍Androscoggin Valley Country Club is engulfed by the Great North Woods on Route 2 in Gorham, New Hampshire. Endless mountain views and forest surround this 18-hole course. It offers a fully stocked pro shop, lessons, tournaments and its club house, “The 19th Hole.”

‍Bretton Woods Golf Courses at Omni Mount Washington Resort feature two courses, a 9-hole and 18-hole course. The Mount Pleasant Course is a 9-hole course that is par 35, 3,215 yards. It will challenge first-time players and entertain seasoned ones. It provides a pressure free environment for all abilities.

‍The 18-hole Mount Washington Course is par 72, 7,004 yards. It’s been regularly voted as “One of the Best Courses You Can Play” in Golf Week Magazine, in NH. Bretton Woods golf courses offer a fully stocked pro shop, lessons with PGA professionals and access to “The Grille” clubhouse.

‍Bridgton Highlands Country Club is located in Bridgton, Maine and is surrounded by Highland Lake. As you make your way through the 18-hole course  you’ll take in views of Pleasant Mountain-Shawnee Peak, New Hampshire’s White Mountains and Mount Washington. The course has four sets of tees and a maximum length of 6,224 yards. Regularly scheduled social hours with live music are hosted at the course, as well as tournaments and other golf events.

‍Eagle Mountain House Golf Club is set at the base of one of New Hampshire’s oldest and historic hotels, the Eagle Mountain House. Located in Jackson, New Hampshire, this course overlooks Jackson Village and follows the Wildcat River. Featuring 9-holes, each with a different perspective of the White Mountains, golfers can play a round at this par 32 rated course, and end their day with dinner at Highfields Restaurant or Eagle’s Landing Tavern, both in the hotel.

‍Indian Mound Golf Club is considered "one of New Hampshire's most popular golf courses.” This accessible par 70 golf course features 9-holes on a relatively level first-half of the course, followed by gentle rolling terrain on the second half. Indian Mound Golf Club is located in Center Ossipee, NH and offers a pro shop, lessons and tournaments, and the Rivers Edge Grille and Tavern.

‍Hales Location Golf Course is a 9-hole course that features views of White Horse Ledge and Cranmore Mountain. With its mountain views and meticulously kept grounds Golf Magazine has stated that Hales Location is one of the most unique and singularly beautiful golf developments in the country.” This professional par 36 course is challenging, but also approachable for a range of players. Golfers will find long fairways, several water hazards and carefully placed sand traps. At the end of your game, drinks, lite fare and dinner are served at the White Mountain Hotel’s Tullamore Tavern and Ledges dining room.

‍Province Lake Golf Club is a beautiful blend of the best of classic golf with outstanding modern design.  Throughout the course's 18-holes you'll be treated to spectacular views of the lake, and occasionally you'll spot the wildlife that make their home in the area. Ranked #1 in New England for Women's Golf by Golf Digest and 24th Nationally! Province Lake Golf Club is a friendly course with a great practice facility, a fully stocked Pro Shop, and Carriage House Bistro and Tavern restaurant.

‍Wentworth Golf Club is an 18-hole course that will have you weaving throughout Jackson Village. As you make your way through the course you’ll take in views of the Presidential Range and follow the Wildcat and Ellis Rivers. Madeline’s Sandwich and Deli is located on the 18th hole for a mid-day break and the Red Fox Bar and Grille is right down the road from the pro shop, for some of the best woodier grilling in the valley.
