NORTH CONWAY, NH – Hundreds gathered to tour and toast North Conway’s new Hotel Indigo on Thursday, February 12th, 2026. The ribbon-cutting and celebration brought together the Mt. Washington Valley business community, including hotel owners Jatin Patel, Nirav Patel, Amee Upadhyay, Vimal Patel, Sanjay Thakkar, Paritosh Patel, and Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chris Proulx.
Visitors were greeted with live jazz music from the Al Hospers and Jarrod Taylor Duo in the hotel’s stunning lobby overlooking the Intervale Scenic Vista. The public was invited to tour all four levels of the property including the rooftop deck, restaurant and bar.
Several libation stations were staffed by Cathedral Ledge Distillery, Tamworth Distillery & Tuckerman's Brewery, all local vendors featured on the Viewpoint Rooftop Eatery & Bar menus.
Hotel Indigo owners cut the ceremonial ribbon, thanking their teams for all the hard work that went into the property, which opened its doors in December 2025.
It was reported that the hotel is sold out for the current February vacation break period.
Proulx added, "Hotel Indigo is a tremendous addition to the Mt. Washington Valley's hospitality landscape. This beautiful property not only enhances our capacity to welcome visitors year-round, but it also demonstrates the continued confidence investors have in our region's tourism economy. Thanks to our entire business community for turning out to help celebrate this grand opening.”
